One of four 5 meter high pillars were produced to clad existing columns in a swimming pool complex. Not only were they to be translucent the architect also wanted them to sparkle, this was achieved using crushed glass laminated into the interior. When illuminated from within they produced a stunning Pate-de-Verre effect. Made from quarter sections with internal flanges bolted on site externally using gravity toggles.
